EXO 27 combines the EXO Precision AirMotion Tweeter with the GDC Waveguide (Guided Directivity Control) to ensure controlled, wide dispersion. The result is a precise stereo image with stable localization across the entire frequency range. This improves stereo imaging and spatial coherence in setups like Dolby Atmos. Constructed from ultra-lightweight polyamide, the AMT delivers rapid transient response, exceptional efficiency, and accurate high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion.
The larger 6.5″ CAL woofer (Coated Aluminium) delivers deep, punchy bass while maintaining clarity in the mids – perfect for detailed mixes that need to translate well to larger systems. The lightweight aluminum woofer cone, featuring a resonance-damped dust cap and an optimized magnet system, guarantees precise and dynamic playback with minimal distortion.
The specially shaped and airflow-optimized LDE enclosure (Low Diffraction Enclosure) with rounded edges minimizes unwanted reflections and supports smooth sound dispersion. Its curved design with smooth, rounded edges reduces sound diffraction, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate listening experience. The enhanced rear-facing bass reflex ports, with optimized aerodynamics, allow for deeper low-end extension while minimizing port noise.
