Denon‘s new AVR-S660H is a 5.2 channel model, while the AVR-S760H provides 7.2 channels of surround sound. Denon rates both receivers to deliver 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and both of the new receivers also provide multiple 8K HDMI inputs to support the latest home entertainment sources, including gaming.
The AVR-S660H offers a choice of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio surround sound formats, and on the video side of the AV spectrum, the receiver offers 8K at 60Hz/4K at 120Hz pass-through, as well as Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG high dynamic range compatibility.
Denon also points out the AVR-S660H provides users with the company’s HEOS wireless multiroom audio platform.
