Warranty terms

1. General information

All products purchased from T Studio are provided with a warranty in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union consumer protection requirements, as well as the regulations of the respective manufacturer.

  • Private individuals are provided with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
  • For legal entities (B2B), the warranty period is 1 year, unless otherwise specified in the product description.

T Studio does not perform repairs on site, but acts as an intermediary between the customer and the manufacturer's authorized service or distributor, providing a warranty application in accordance with the procedure specified by the manufacturer.

2. Warranty scope

The warranty applies to manufacturing defects and material or assembly errors that have occurred during normal use.
Certain products may have an additional or extended warranty if provided for by the manufacturer (for example, after product registration). In such cases, this is clearly stated in the product description.

The warranty process is initiated from the moment your e-mail is received (the time of sending the e-mail serves as the moment of registration of the application).
When submitting an application, please:

  • describe the problem as accurately as possible,
  • attach a photo or video material if the defect is visible,
  • attach proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

If the damage is not visible, a written description of the defect is required by e-mail.
We also recommend contacting the manufacturer's support service, which sometimes speeds up the resolution of the problem.

4. Warranty process and duration

After receiving the application, T Studio sends it to the manufacturer or distributor for evaluation.

  • The average repair or replacement time is 3–4 weeks, however, it may vary depending on the availability of parts or logistics.
  • In some cases, the service is performed outside of Latvia, so the total execution time may be longer due to transportation.
  • Replacement products are not provided during the warranty period.

If the manufacturer is unable to repair or replace the product, T Studio applies a refund based on the standard 14-day right of withdrawal policy or other regulatory enactments.

5. Warranties do not apply to

The warranty does not apply to the following cases:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, moisture or water exposure.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications or opening of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. pads, faders, buttons, cables, batteries, etc.).
  • Software activation or registration issues are not considered warranty cases.

These exclusions comply with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act and EU Directive 2019/771, which determine the difference between a manufacturing defect and wear and tear or damage caused by the user's actions.

6. Warranty process monitoring

If the service process exceeds 30 days, T Studio provides weekly updates on the warranty status.
In cases where delays occur due to manufacturer, logistics or spare parts shortages, T Studio informs the customer and ensures transparent communication throughout the process.
