The Raindrops features three modes: modulated delay, delay with pitch shifting, and lusting reverb (a dreamy, modern 'verb with sky-high verticality). Its delay range spans 50ms to 1 second, and around the 700ms mark, delays shift from a hi-fi to a lo-fi feel with the subtle introduction of breakup and dirt. Whichever mode you chose, this effect can gently fall like raindrops on lower settings — but crank the controls up and you’ll open the faucet on mile-wide sounds that glitch, sputter, and trail with distinct sonic character.
