The base and boom mount are made of indestructible die-cast zinc. The boom has an adjustment range of 51 to 88 cm. The screw-on counterweight features a specially designed locking nut for microphone clips. The solid metal knobs cannot be lost, ensuring the stands withstand the rigors of the road longer. The microphone stands are also quicker to set up and take down. Turning the locking screw just 3/4 of a turn quickly snaps the boom into place. Height adjustment is just as easy and extremely fast via the easy-grip, triangular tightening sleeve.
